The Maine / LMFAO

So lately I don't really know what to write about.
There's great music out there, thats a fact but I just don't really know what to write about all of it. I'm still in my weird Disney Phase right now, I'm trying to get out of it by listening to the incredible Christofer Drew [ NeverShoutNever] and it seems to be working like a charm. Just
---->listen to this and tell me hes not the most adorable boy out there:

Lets talk about....Yahoo Answers.
So in newspaper class, theres nothing to do. So I created a Yahoo Account, and started answering peoples questions.I started with "Relationships" but that got pretty boring. So I went onto " Music" and then it got better.

There was a question " What are some good scene bands to listen to?"
And then, I read some of the already posted answers. I can't belive how many people are hatin' on the scene community! "Scene" used to be more of the 80's-90's punk scene but now its more of the, I'm not emo, but my dark hair makes you think so.

-----Scene Checklist Time? I think so!

do you wear/have;
[x] band shirts
[x] Brightly colored clothing
[x] Bows in the hair (girls)
[x] Self-cut hair
[x] SKINNY JEANS
[] black hair ( sometimes blond, or crazy colors and highlights)
[x] ussually straitened hair
[x] converse/vans/keds
-----Scene Music Checklist----
[x] Nickasaur!
[x] Attack Attack
[x] Mayday Parade
[x] The Maine
[x] Blood On The Dance Floor
[x] Chidos
[x] Breathe Carolina
[x] screamo anything.

wow.
I'm almost a scene kid, according to my random checklists. But, yet im not. I have brown/red hair, which is not scene. I listen to country music. I don't drink/do drugs.
But, I do love all of that music, plus manymany other bands.

hm.
I will let you all know the moment that final check mark is put in,
which will happen someday. I will try any hair color once.

So. Music time, thats what this "blog" is about any
The Maine is ah-ma-zing. They are more of a rockish band, with amazing hair.
So. The best song?

It's a tie between "I Wanna Love You (Akon Cover)" or "Into Your Arms"
Their cover of I Wanna Love You is briliantly done, and changed up a lot.

Into Your Arms, is a sweet song about love thats falling apart, but the guy wants to fix it.

The music video is la la la fantastic. Him [ John Ohh ] in an airport, signing to the runaway girl, while looking mighty fine with his crazy hair and perfect smile.

I'm really into LMFAO right now.------------------------->

Not their song I'm In Miami Bitch/Trick, but their songs Yes and La La La. I really like Yes, its got a really good beat with slightly repetitive chorus lyrics, but its all good anyways. La La La is good too.

Dashboard Confessional

Song: Stolen
Artist: Dashboard Confessional

Album: Dusk and Summer

I lovelovelove this song. It's adorable, and
fun House fact of the day:
who's the girl in the music video?
NUMBER 13! Yes, she's one of the "doctors" on the show, I always forget her name, and House used to call her " 13 " so there we go.

Anyways, Dashboard Confessional isn't one of my favorite bands but I really like this song, and they're on tour with NeverShoutNever!

I am this close to jumping on a plane just to go see NSN.
But the closest they come to here is California. :( and my parents don't really give into my addiction to that band/boy....

Disney Phase?

So, I don't know what song to post about.
right now I'm going through one of my weird Disney music phases.

Disney phase;
a rare point in ones life where music only consists of Jonas Brothers, Hannah Montana/Miley, Selena Gomez, Demi Lavato, High School Musical and anything else that seems to be related.

This happens to me.. oh, once every other month, its just a time for my mind to update on what all the 9 year old girls are listening to.

Right now, I happen to be listening to Send It On by;
-The Jonas Brothers
-Demi Lavato
-Miley Cyrus
-Selena Gomez

For some crazy reason they sorta split up the Jonas Brothers, paired them with one of the three girls [ Nick and Miley, of course! ] and told them to sing a song about saving the earth, [ "just one spark starts a fire...."]

----and in other JoBro news----

I heard that Nick Jonas might do his own side project!
Personally I think if they ever split up he would have the best chance of succeeding, hes got that voice that splits your heart in two when he sings about break ups.

Watch " Send It On" here.
comment me back with what annoying Disney song to listen to next.

Stephen Jerzak

Song: togetherwiththesundown
Artist: Stephen Jerzak
Album: ?

So, I haven't posted in a long time, mostly because I've been busy. The last few day's I've been stuck at home sick [ swine flu?] and all I've done is listen to music and watch Say Yes To The Dress.

Stephen Jerzak's songs are all adorable and mellow. This song is one of my favorites, along with Cute, which is basically a song full of pick up lines. Stephen Jerzak has YouTube videos doing covers from NeverShoutNever [ yay! ] to Taylor Swift.

Chase Coy also sings togetherwiththesundown which is equally as good, I don't really know who wrote it and who's covering it, but that's alright.

Some other songs that I have been listening to like crazy, but have already done a post on the artist are:

Rocketships and Radios by Nickasaur!

The Point by eatmewhileimhot

Strawberry Avalanche by Owl City (Congrats Adam Young for Fireflies making it to number 11 on the top 20 countdown on VH1!)

Soular Flares by The Ready Set

First Dance by NeverShoutNever

Jane Doe by NeverShoutNever

Check them out :)
